Basic Embroidery Tools and Techniques

Each of the videos contained in this section concentrates on one or more of the basic tools used to perform the basic tasks of working with embroidery design stitch files. Examples of some of the videos that you will find here are those that teach you how to use the Zoom tools, Resizing and Scaling tools, and other tools to manage the appearance of completed stitch files.


Understanding the Get Length Tool

Sometimes we find it necessary to make a measurement of only part of an embroidery design. While the information section of the Control Panel shows us the external dimensions of a design, we still need a tool to measure certain parts of a design. The Get Length tool gives us this capability. And, the Get Length tool can also be found in both the Premier+ Modify and the Premier+ Create modules. This video describes how to use the Get Length tool.

Learning how to use SuperDesigns

There are more than 1,300 SuperDesigns available in Premier+ Embroidery Extra. Finding all of these designs and understanding the different Styles that are available for each set of SuperDesigns is your gateway to successfully using all of the SuperDesigns that are present in your software. Editing Tools and Techniques

Each of the videos contained in this section concentrates on one or more of the basic tools used to perform basic editing tasks on embroidery design stitch files. Examples of some of the videos that you will find here are those that teach you how to control the visibility of stitches to make editing designs easier and more accurate, other videos will describe how to save and use new stitch files that you create after editing existing stitch files.


Modify Block Secrets in Premier+ Create

The Modify Block Tool has several hidden functions in the Premier+ Create module. This short video demonstrates how to find these options and use the Scale Design option to resize an existing embroidery design.

Basic Digitizing Tools and Techniques

Examples of some of the videos that you will find here are thos that tech you how to open the Properties dialog for a perticular stitch object, how to modify the Properties of particular stitch objects, and how to work with graphic images that are used as a guide to digitizing designs.
